What you bring:
Your background as a Product Designer will include hands-on experience crafting digital interfaces for web or mobile applications within collaborative teams. You’ll bring strong interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with colleagues from different disciplines—whether discussing user research findings or presenting new concepts during stakeholder meetings. Your portfolio will showcase thoughtful problem-solving abilities rooted in empathy for users’ needs as well as technical proficiency with industry-standard tools like Figma or Sketch. You’ll have demonstrated success running usability tests that inform iterative improvements while maintaining clear communication throughout each project phase. Ideally you’ll also possess some familiarity with motion graphics or front-end coding languages—enabling smoother handoffs between design and development teams—and an understanding of accessibility requirements so your work benefits all users equally.
* Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field—or equivalent practical experience gained through hands-on roles in product or UI/UX design.
* 2–5 years’ proven experience designing digital products for web or mobile platforms within collaborative environments.
* Proficiency using modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar software for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
* Strong understanding of core design principles including typography, colour theory, layout composition, and responsive design techniques.
* Experience conducting user research sessions as well as usability testing activities aimed at improving product outcomes based on real-world feedback.
* Ability to communicate complex design decisions clearly to both technical audiences (developers) and non-technical stakeholders (business leaders).
* Portfolio demonstrating user-centred approaches throughout the entire design process—from initial discovery through final delivery—with examples of successful projects.
* Nice to Have: Experience with motion design or advanced prototyping tools like Principle or After Effects for creating engaging interactions.
* Nice to Have: Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS or JavaScript which can help bridge communication between designers and developers.
* Nice to Have: Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) or inclusive design principles that ensure products are usable by everyone regardless of ability.
